pp / gm. Powerplay and god-modding. Powerplaying is acting as if you control the other person's puppet. Which you don't. For example: "Bob held Jane's hand and pulled her away while she laughed and danced around like a clown." See what's wrong? The one controlling Bob could not also control Jane at the same time. It's just not right. For all we know, Jane could have pulled out a gun and shot his face off. But we don't, since Bob's puppeteer decided that it was okay to control Jane. Any reports of powerplaying will be investigated, and you will be punished accordingly.
God-modding is a tad bit different. Let's say that Jane did pull out a shotgun. "Jane pulled a gun out of it's holster, and Bob tried to punch her, but his hand broke the instant it touched her." Who sees the problem? Yes, you, sitting in front of your computer with your hand on your cheek. You are not invincible! We do not want anyone who is pp or gm, it is not the correct role play etiquette
Graphics Graphics make the site a better looking place, everything looks neat and beautiful. When a character has an icon or signature it also helps imagine your character. You need to have an Avatar but a signature is highly appreciated but optional. Your character's Face Claim must be an actor or professional model. This means no ANIME, NO INTERNET PERSONAS, NO BLOGGERS, the must be a celebrity.
Role Play Here at ITD we have a word count of 150, that is not a lot so please do not go under. No first person! Your application can be written in first person but once you are posting IC please write in third person. example wrong- I walked down the road and saw a cat. correct - She walked down the road and saw a cat.
Characters You may have as many characters as you can handle. You must have a separate account for each character, the only exception is if your character has a child. A child does not need an account until they are old enough to attend middle school (12/13). To make another character you must have 10 IC posts, once you have five characters you must have 30 IC posts per character. You must keep all of them active, if you can't do that you should stay with a low amount of characters.
